Bunny Benito's Story
Bunny Benito is a tri-colored male kitten. ChatGPT has determined that he's a dilute calico-tabico, a 1 in 3,000 to 10,000 rare and unique kitten. We think he's pretty special for a different reason... he's such an incredibly affectionate little love-bunny. We call him Bunny because he hops like a bunny and has those great big ears that he may someday grow into. : ) The reaso he hops is how he came to our rescue. A couple found him and took him to a vet because they thought he might have a broken leg. The vet was needing to do exrays and some other tests and the couple could not afford that so they called our rescue and said that if they could not pay the vet then they were told his only other option was to be put down. When we got the call we asked the couple to please bring him to our rescue. When he got to us we took him to our own vet (with more affordable exrays) and found that he has no broken bones, only a birth defect that made his left hind leg difficult to walk on. But he has learned how to hop and he really is so cute. Then we noticed that he was a tri-colored male kitten and put his pic online to see what chatGPT had to say about him. They told us he is a calico-tabico.
We are looking for an amazing home for him that will understand his special need and also understand the special vet care he will need as and XXY kitten. If you are interested in meeting Bunny Benito, contact us at 214-949-2247
He is only 9 weeks old and has all his dewormers and first vaccination. He's scheduled for the rest of his vet care (neuter + all vax & microchip) as he gets old enough. We are choosing an early adoption for him because he really needs a loving family to raise him instead of growing up in our shelter. He seems to need more attention than most kittens. : )
