Bug's Story

The Resilient Survivor: Meet Bug

At just a year and a half old, Bug has already overcome more than most cats ever should. Before coming to Pet Refuge, she survived being hit by a car, endured an extensive surgery, and made a remarkable recovery. Her resilience is truly inspiring.

Bug is a sweet, petite, and playful girl with a gentle heart. She enjoys affection, but on her own terms. She's the one who likes to make the first move, and once she trusts you, those quiet moments of connection are incredibly rewarding.

She gets along wonderfully with other friendly, non-threatening cats and would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where her family understands that trust takes time. Patience, kindness, and respect for her boundaries are all she asks—and she is well worth the wait.

One of the most endearing things about Bug is how she communicates. If you speak to her in a soft, gentle voice, she'll look at you and slowly blink her eyes in return. It's her special way of saying she feels safe with you, and it's absolutely heartwarming.

Bug has survived the unimaginable. Now she's simply looking for someone who will give her the love, patience, and forever home she deserves.

For more information and instructions on how to apply, please visit https://thepetrefuge.org/adopt/ Completing an adoption application is always the first step.
