Bug's Story
The Resilient Survivor: Bug

Bug is a year and a half and she is a remarkable girl with a survivor's spirit. Before her previous adoption, she survived being hit by a car, underwent surgeries, and made a full recovery.

Because of her past, she is understandably cautious around humans. When she first arrived at her last home, she hid constantly and needed to be fed in her hiding spots.

However, over the past few months, she has completely blossomed! She is now out running around, exploring everything, and even playing with Jelly. Her favorite activities are watching the birds and doing zoomies around the house.

While she still keeps a safe distance from humans, she is brave enough to let you get close at feeding time. She is living fully, thriving, and is a wonderful girl who truly deserves a patient home with all the love in the world.

For more information and instructions on how to apply, please visit https://thepetrefuge.org/adopt/ Completing an adoption application is always the first step. Shelter visits are by appointment only and available to applicants whose applications have been approved.

We also invite you to follow us on social media: Facebook at Pet Refuge, TikTok @petrefugenk and Instagram @petrefugeri
