BUDDY & SMOKEY's Story

We are bonded 7-and-a-half-year-old brothers. Our owners had to surrender us due to a change in their living situation, it was a sad day for all of us. Our owners shed tears and we were so confused. Smokey could not stop meowing once he was placed in our cage. All of our personal belongings came with us, including our cat tree. Friendly, sweet and handsome. We tell our life story whenever one visits us, We are hoping that a visitor will help us write the ending to our adoption journey by bringing us home. We have a special adoption fee. Buddy is black/white, Smokey is black.

Taunton Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
**PLEASE CALL AHEAD FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET PETS AT THE SHELTER. 508-822-1463** Adopt a "best friend" for life! Please remember that dogs and cats of all ages need and deserve happiness, love, and a home. In return, they will love you unconditionally for all of your years together. We adopt to New England Residents only and require current/past veterinarian references. An application is REQUIRED to adopt an animal. Vet references will be checked, as well as references for those who rent. Adoption of an animal will be based on APPROVED applications only. We do not accept debit/credit cards. Payment must be check or money order with proper ID or cash. If submitting an application for a dog, please email it to rdanielczyk@taunton-ma.gov or gasman6637@icloud.com Dogs are $200.00 and cats are $165.00 (kittens up to 6 months are $185.00). This price includes the spay/neuter, rabies shot, and other required vaccinations.
