Buddy

Buddy is 2 years old and came to us through a sad situation. His owner is undergoing chemotherapy and could no longer provide for him in addition to her struggle. It broke both of their hearts, but out of love, she wanted better for him.<br/><br/>Buddy arrived at the shelter with nothing but his Christmas stocking and a photo of him from home. His reality changed in the blink of an eye, one moment with his safe person, and the next in a room full of strangers. Buddy has been rather nervous with us, but it is our hope that a kind person will come by soon and see what a lovely boy he is.<br/><br/>He is described as a cuddly lap cat who is equally energetic. In his old home, he enjoyed playing fetch with plastic springs and is a known lover of shrimp and Fancy Feast. Buddy has experience with other cats and older children, and is currently doing well in our Middle Cattery with a few feline roommates.<br/><br/>We know someone will see Buddy as the perfect addition to their life. He truly has it all; the fluff, the personality, and the sweet eyes that ask you to take him home. Is Buddy the kitty for you?<br/><br/>Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our cats. We do not adopt first come; we always select the best placement for our animals. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a cat.<br/> <br/>Our adoption fee is $50 for cats. This includes FIV/FeLV testing, flea/tick preventatives, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines, and spay/neuter if six months or older.
