Buddy's Story

Buddy is a "muted" gray tabby...very handsome boy! He came to us with his brother Romeo who is his twin. The guy that took them in took really good care of them but just had too many cats. They lived outdoors but are adjusting to the sounds and sights in the shelter and doing well. Buddy is neutered, litter box trained and very sweet. He loves cheek scratches and affection. He will make a wonderful pet for any cat lover. Stone County Humane Society Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We approve adoptions over the phone by responding to a completed adoption application. Please go to our website schspets.org and complete an online application and someone will contact you. Our adoption fees are $150 for shelter dogs and $200 for Paws in Prison trained dogs, and $75 for cats. We take only cash or check no credit cards. We are open daily from 2 to 5 by appointment only (during the Pandemic). Volunteers are here Monday - Friday from 11 to 5 to answer the phone and help with adoptions.
