Buddy's Story

Buddy was transferred to us from our partner, the Humane Society of Waupaca, after his owner sadly passed away. Despite all the changes he’s been through, Buddy remains a calm and affectionate boy who loves spending his days lounging around and soaking up attention. He’s a bit of a king in his own right—content to rule from his favorite sunny spot and remind everyone that he’s in charge, but always in the most charming way<br/><br/>Buddy would do best in a relaxed home where he can enjoy plenty of quiet time and affection. He’s not a fan of dogs or other cats, but older, respectful children would be a good match for his easygoing but confident personality. -We require that all of our adopters be 21yrs+. All adults 18yrs+ must pass a basic background check. -Landlord checks and pet limits and policies are preformed when necessary. City pet limits are assessed. - Current pets, must be up to date on vaccinations and routine wellness and veterinarian information provided. - Potential adopters must provide 3 personal references. 'Almost Home MKE has a strict no declaw policy, and believes strongly in healthy, safe, alternatives to declawing.
