Budders...'s Story

Budders is a big lump of a guy... maybe too big!!! He was 25 lbs and should probably be about 18... we are slowly slimming him down! Budders human could no longer keep him due to a decline in health. She saved him when he was a skinny hungry little guy... now it's someone else's turn to see him through the rest of his life! Budders is a total couch potato... he plays, but not a lot! he loves company... right now? he's a little mouthy... overstimulation OR you leaving him ... he may put his teeth on you so we need to be sure that his new family understands this behavior and continues to curb it! gently and with compassion! super sweet companion cat.... Budders is great with other cats!

We first conduct a telephone interview. We require an application and references. We require a fee. We require a vet verification if appropriate. We do not let an applicant take the pet upon the first meeting. They must leave and take a 24 hour "impulse prevention" period before we agree to the adoption.
