Bud came to us when he was found alone on the road to Conger. He was just a tiny fella at the time and we took him in and helped him grow and thrive. Born August 2025, Bud is now ready and eager for whatever comes next for him. Bud loves playing with his roommate, Boo, and would really like it if they could go home together. They are a couple of solo guys who found friendship here at the shelter and now they would love to go Home for the Holidays.<br/><br/>All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org<br/><br/>When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.<br/><br/>Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.<br/><br/>If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes.
