Bucket's Story

Meet Bucket, a super sweet and handsome long-haired brown tabby and white boy kitty, who is around 4 years old!

Bucket was unfortunately surrendered by his previous owner for being bullied by the other resident cats. He is looking for his furr-ever home where he can be happier and stress-free.

This boy is very sweet, always behaving lovingly towards humans and very much appreciating pets and scratches. He will chirp happily and follow people around, rubbing on their legs and asking for attention and affection. Other times, Bucket will be found napping on a comfy bed, often high-up on a perch where he can keep watch over his surroundings. He enjoys sunbathing in the rays of the window, purring contently, his warmth comparable to the sun itself.

Bucket was quite matted when he first came into our care, and had to have a number of mats shaved off. He would benefit from frequent brushing, and perhaps coat-health supplements should his adopter choose.

Bucket has had some bad luck with other cats previously in his life, however he has gotten along alright with the other cats here at the shelter in his free-roaming room. He could get along with kitty room-mates in a home as long as they are also tolerant towards him. Cats who are more likely to pick on him or go after him incessantly will cause him stress. We are unsure how he would be with dogs, but it's possible he could get along with a canine friend with a slow and proper introduction, and if they are friendly to cats and less likely to overwhelm him or pick on him.

If you're looking for a super sweet little guy to bless your home with warmth and companionship, Bucket is your guy! Consider adopting him!
