Bubba's Story

Meet Bubba!

Bubba is the perfect mix of independent and loving, and at just about 2 years old, he has many years of love to give.

He does great with his foster's grouchy little dog and welcomed the other cats faster than they welcomed him. He plays with the other cats, loves toys, scratching posts, lounging around the house, watching TV, and being near his people. He's not a big lap cat, but he enjoys pets, can be held and handled, and keeps getting sweeter every day. Plus, he is VERY food motivated. He even follows certain commands like sit if he can get a treat!

Bubba showed up outside his foster's home during the freeze back in January as a shy stray who wanted nothing to do with people besides grabbing food and leaving. After he was neutered and released back outside, he disappeared for almost two weeks, then randomly came back and slowly started trusting humans more and more.

By the time his foster had to move, Bubba had become everyone's favorite neighborhood cat, greeting people for treats or pets and learning that humans weren't so bad after all. They decided to bring Bubba with them, and he has adjusted to indoor life perfectly and almost instantly.

He will be a perfect new best friend for someone who loves chilling with him at home and would likely do well in a multi-cat household!
