Bub's Story

Approx DOB: March 2021

Sweet Bub, or “Bubbalub” to those who love her, at one point years ago clearly had a home. However, for at least the last two years, she found herself living amongst a very large colony of feral cats. She slowly began trusting her colony caretaker until it was evident that Bub never really belonged there to begin with. She has settled back into home life with ease and is extremely affectionate. Her purr can be heard outside her room and she is a top notch biscuit maker and head booper. She loves the laser and is really beginning to decompress and show her playful side.

Bub is very attached to her foster mom, following her all around her room just waiting for love and seems to have a slight fear of men unfortunately. Given her past, we don’t know what happened to her to cause the fearful look in her eyes when men are around and what causes her to feel the need to retreat when they approach. Because of this, we feel it best for her to be in a home where a female would be her main caretaker. A home without small children is ideal as well.

After living in the chaos of a colony of 50 cats, Bub has sadly become jaded with other feline friends and will need a home with no other cats where she can be the center of your world. Now at about 5 years old, she deserves a home that will never disappoint her again the way someone in her past has.

After weeks of brushing years of matts and burrs out of her very long fur, it is beginning to get its beautiful shine back. She loves being brushed and has tolerated it all so well.

If you think you are the one true love Bub is searching for, please complete an application and make her dreams of finally having a true loving FOREVER home, come true.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at https://furryfriendsnetwork.org/adopt-a-furry-friend/core-values/.

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.org / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application).
