Bruiser's Story

BRUISER may look like the tough guy as his name implies but he is a sweetheart. Bruiser never met a meal he didn't like (and he likes people too!). He's looking for a home of his own where there are plenty of snacks!

Somerset Regional Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Interested in adopting a pet? Stop by the shelter during business hours to meet our available pets (no appointment needed). When you find your new BFF, you'll fill out an application and staff will gladly guide you through the next steps. You can also go to our website at www.srasnj.org/adoptions/ to fill out an application in advance. The app will be processed once you've selected a pet. Adoption requirements include: 🐾 All household members must meet the new pet 🐾 Proof of homeownership OR landlord approval/lease allowing pets 🐾 All pets in home must be up to date on vaccines. 🐾 If adopting a cat, please bring a carrier, if adopting a dog, please bring a leash and crate/carrier as appropriate for a safe ride home. 🐾 Meet & greet required for any resident dogs. Bring your leashed pup, but keep them outside. Introductions will be made in the shelter yard. Our priority is making sure both our pets AND adopters are set up for success and that these animals never have to experience being bounced from home to home. We therefore reserve the right to deny any application if we do not feel it is the best match. If you don't find a match when you visit, please know we bring in new pets regularly. Be sure to check back to make a homeless animal's - and your - dreams come true!
