Brock's Story

Shy guy Brock is one of the last of a litter of 8 to find a home. This is typical of the introverts who don’t come out to meet the potential adopters but who are actually great companions if given a chance. He is a gentle and loyal, just needs time to warm up. He likes the other cats in the room and would do well if looking to adopt a pair from the room (see Porter and Sutton) but probably not going to be brave enough to get along with small children or dogs. Please consider making an appointment to see if Brock would be the right fit for your home. HEARTT Animal Refuge's Adoption Policy

All adoptions are by appointment only. We have two locations, Sharonville and Bridgetown, so please clarify who you would like to meet so we can set up the appointment at the correct location. Our adoption fee for both dogs and cats is $100 per animal. We have a policy to only adopt to individuals age 21 or older. Additionally, we only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter. All animals are spayed/neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption. We also give flea and dewormer treatments. Dogs are tested for Heartworm and cats are quarantined for 8 weeks prior to FIV/FeLV testing. Consider a "Senior" pet.....they really need love and a home to call their own in their senior years. We have a few beautiful kittens and many adult cats that are looking for you.
