Brie's Story

This beautiful mama is still learning that humans are not so scary. Brie has already made great progress. She will happily rub against your legs and even allow some gentle pets when she feels comfortable.
She is still a work in progress and can get startled by sudden movements, which might earn you a hiss or a quick swat. She is not being mean, just cautious and figuring things out.

She is looking for a patient and understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to continue building trust. With consistency, a calm environment, and a little love, she has so much potential to blossom into a loyal companion.

Our goal is to ensure every animal is placed in a safe, loving, and permanent home. To protect their well-being, our rescue follows these adoption guidelines: • A brief video home check is required prior to finalizing any adoption. •All adult members of the household must review and sign the adoption contract. • Background checks are conducted to confirm a safe environment. • Declawing or allowing adopted cats to roam outdoors is strictly prohibited. • Veterinary references are required and will be verified. • If at any point the adopter cannot continue to care for the animal, the pet must be returned to the rescue. •A medical care agreement ensures that if an adopter cannot afford necessary vet treatment, the animal will return to the rescue for care. •We conduct a meet-and-greet with potential adopters to make sure the household environment and lifestyle appropriately match the needs of the animal. Our policies are designed to ensure every rescued pet has the best chance at a safe and happy forever home.
