Breyer's Story

The Ice Cream Litter – A Sweet Beginning

This adorable crew got their start thanks to a call our star volunteer, Rebecca, received from a parish maintenance yard. A community cat had given birth there, and while the workers were kind enough to look out for them, a maintenance yard isn’t a safe place for kittens to grow up.

Rebecca sprang into action, trapping mom while the kittens were still tiny so they could be handled and socialized—but old enough that mom could continue nursing them. Thankfully, mom wasn’t too spicy, and with careful coordination we were able to safely manage both her and the kittens while she did the important work of helping them grow big and strong.

Around here, we love a good theme, and this crew was dubbed the Ice Cream Litter—because ice cream is truly the way to our employee Amelie’s heart. This litter includes four boys and two girls, all now thriving, playful, and ready for their next chapter.

Like most kittens, they would do best adopted with a sibling or into a home with another friendly cat.

Meet Breyer!

Breyer is a full-on character. This boy cannot get enough toys and brings enthusiasm to everything he does. He absolutely nailed his photo shoot thanks to his love of play and outgoing personality. Breyer would thrive in a home that enjoys active, playful kittens and is ready to laugh at his antics.

If you'd like to meet me, stop by Jefferson Feed (corner of Jefferson Hwy. and Central Ave.).

Adoption Fee is $200/each or $350/pair. We like our kittens to have friends so we want a pair adoption if you have no other pets unless we know a specific kitten prefers to be alone. All kittens are Spayed/Neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, FeLV/FIV tested and microchipped.

DOWNLOAD our Adoption Application here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ahiajf6e6i0ox2hdl09jk/JSPCA-Application_2.0-Newest-Updates.pdf?rlkey=be9he1julh02etikl021k9plk&dl=0

All adoptions subject to approval.
