Peter Zippi Memorial Fund Inc's Adoption Policy
Adoption Fee: $125.00 Our adoption fee generally covers everything your new feline friend needs to start their journey with you. At Peter Zippi, we believe that kittens under 5 months of age thrive best with a feline companion. To ensure their happiness and healthy development, we adopt kittens in pairs or to homes with an age-appropriate resident cat. Growing up with another cat helps kittens learn social skills, provides essential companionship, and encourages active play. We appreciate your understanding and support in giving our kittens the best start in life! We also understand the importance of finding the perfect match for both you and your new feline friend. That’s why we offer our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program. Instead of adopting outright, you can bring your chosen cat(s) or kitten(s) home on a trial basis to ensure it’s the best fit for everyone involved. This process allows you to get to know your new pet better and helps determine if your resident pet(s) will welcome a new companion. Typically, the foster to adopt period is one week for kittens and two weeks for adult cats. Thank you for considering adopting from Peter Zippi Memorial Fund, where every cat's journey to a forever home begins with support from the community.
