Boris's Story

Boris is an extremely sweet and quiet British Shorthair/Scottish Fold cat. He was dumped by his prior owner (he was likely used as a breeder) in Kuwait and he was so scared of people that it took a rescue in Kuwait 2 weeks to catch him. There are an extremely low number of homes that will adopt cats in Kuwait so Boris was sent here in the hopes of finding a home. Since arriving to the United States, Boris quickly became a favorite in each of his two foster homes. He takes a bit of time to warm up to a new person but then he is extremely loyal and loving and will follow his person around to try to get some attention. His current foster home in Lancaster, PA would happily adopt him but Boris would definitely prefer a quiet home with no kids, ideally a home with retirees.

Boris is perfectly fine with other cats (he would do best in a home with other non-dominant cats like him so he is not bullied).

When Boris first arrived he had a severe ear mite infection that caused him to scratch off all of the hair under both ears. That hair is growing back extremely slowly so he is still pretty bald in those areas.

If you are interested in Boris, please contact his foster home at jasa725@gmail.com
