Bordeaux is a sweet and cuddly 11-month old kitten who is hilarious to watch play. She often bounces around and jumps in the air - just because she can!<br/><br/>She loves spending her downtime cuddled under a blanket with or next to her favorite person or cat. Bordeaux gets along well with her foster's three grumpy adult cats. <br/><br/>She loves her toy mice, the "bird", and anything that moves. She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings (Vienna and Sevilla) or into a home where there is another playful kitten who she can burn off energy with!<br/><br/>Currently in foster care in Baldwin Park. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
