What is SAINT Rescue’s adoption process?

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent, the landlord will be contacted, and their approval is required. If your apartment building has a "no-pet" policy, we will not approve an application even though that owner is required to allow a pet with an ESA letter. We limit adoptions to homes in Linn County and adjacent counties. A home visit is required on all adoptions. That is generally conducted when we deliver the cat(s). If you have been convicted of assault, domestic abuse, child or elder endangerment/neglect, interference with official acts - your application will likely be denied. We reserve the right to deny any application.

Is Boots good with kids?

Boots is not good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Boots good with other animals?

Boots is not good with dogs. It is not known if Boots is good with cats.

When can I meet Boots?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Boots?
