Boots's Story
Boots is a big 3-year-old cat who came to CCHS with his right eye severely ruptured and his left eye ulcerated and inflamed. He ended up needing both eyes removed at the recommendation of his vet. Boots is a sweet boy who loves attention. He can be a little nippy when he gets excited and he will need a home that will help him navigate his new world. He's playful, loves lounging around and enjoys soft pets and food!<br/>Blind cats can live full, happy lives — they just need a little extra support when settling in. Keep their essentials (food, water, litter box) in consistent locations, start them in a small quiet room, and let them explore at their own pace. Use gentle voice cues, toys with sound, and soft scent markers to help them map their world. With patience and predictability, blind cats become confident, loving companions who thrive in their new homes. Apply to adopt at www.cchswi.org
