Boone's Story

Hi, I'm Boone.

I didn't grow up around people, and I'm still not all that interested in changing that. I was taken in as a stray, and while I've come a long way in feeling safe with regular meals and a steady place to land, I like my space and prefer to keep my distance. I'm not the kind of cat who's going to curl up in your lap or follow you around the house-and that's okay. I know what works for me.

What I am is independent, observant, and very good at being a cat. I'd do best in a barn, workshop, or similar setting where I can have a job to do and a safe place to call my own. I'm happiest when I can move freely, keep an eye on my surroundings, and contribute in my own way.
