Meet Boone — professional goofball, part-time troublemaker, and full-time little weirdo. <br/><br/>Boone is a playful, energetic gray kitten who approaches life with maximum curiosity and just the right amount of sass. He wants to investigate absolutely everything, and you can pretty much guarantee he’ll find a way to make you laugh while doing it. One of his favorite ways to welcome you home is by dramatically rubbing and rolling all over your feet like he hasn’t seen you in years.<br/><br/>When Boone finally clocks out from his daily kitten shenanigans, he turns into the sweetest little snuggle bug. He loves curling up with you at night, making biscuits, and suckling on his favorite blanket until he falls asleep. It’s equal parts adorable and hilariously Boone.<br/><br/>He has also done well around dogs! He may be a little unsure when he first meets them, but his curiosity quickly takes over and he’ll be checking them out in no time.<br/><br/>Boone is goofy, affectionate, curious, sassy, and wonderfully weird. The Homeward Bound Project of MS's Adoption Policy
Upon interest for a pet, the potential adopter will receive an adoption application via email. The application is returned, filled out, and process within 24-48 hours. A phone interview will follow, and all adopters are notified of status via phone call. Upon approval, a signed adoption contract and adoption fee must be received prior to sending the animal home. Adoption fees (with exceptions) are typically $65, which covers all vet care and surgery the animal receives while in Homeward Bound's care. All pets adopted out by Homeward Bound are spayed or neutered, have age-appropriate vaccinations, have been screened for diseases, and have been FIV/FeLV tested. They have spent at least 14 days in Mississippi homes in foster care and have been treated for any medical conditions. All animals have been properly vetted according to their needs and started on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives prior to being sent to their new homes!
