Booger's Story

Booger is approximately 4 months old and in foster care in Alpine. Booger is goofy, fiercely affectionate, highly vocal, and completely unapologetic about any of it. He has opinions about everything, and if things aren't going his way, you'll definitely hear about it. Once he's comfortable, he settles in like he owns the place. In fact, he may even hold entire conversations with you or backtalk you, depending on his mood.

His confidence is one of his most endearing qualities. After warming up, Booger struts through life with the self-assurance of a cat who believes the world was designed specifically for his convenience. Whether he's demanding attention, supervising your daily activities, or dramatically announcing his thoughts, he keeps life entertaining.

Of course, Booger's orange-cat energy comes with a healthy dose of chaos. He's unpredictable, mischievous, and always seems to be one questionable decision away from creating a new adventure.

Booger's ideal home is one that embraces both sides of his personality. He'll thrive with someone who can provide plenty of enrichment and playtime, while also spoiling him with soft blankets and cozy cushions for his favorite pastime: curling up for a well-earned nap after a busy day of causing trouble. If there are dogs in the home, he'll need patient introductions and time to adjust, as energetic or boisterous canine companions can overwhelm him at first.

And if you're wondering whether life has ever managed to slow Booger down, the answer is a resounding no. After recovering from a crushed scapula, he bounced back at full orange-cat speed: zero dignity, maximum velocity, and absolutely no reduction in chaos. Built like a traffic cone with nine lives, this little orange guy treated a serious injury like a minor inconvenience between acts of blissful destruction. He is a hilarious, affectionate, larger-than-life companion who will keep you laughing every day!

Thank you for considering an OTAT-WTX rescue! All pets are living in foster homes, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines.

If you are interested in adopting, or for more information, please visit our website: https://otatwtx.org/adopt
