Boo's Story
Boo is an affectionate boy, about 4 years old, with a velvety soft coat that's just begging to be petted. He came to us alongside his sister, Winnie, when their family could no longer care for them. Now these sweet kitties are looking for a loving home with someone who's ready to snuggle up together.

Boo is smart and curious, although he carries himself with a quiet, gentle demeanor. Loud noises might startle him, but he bounces back quickly and doesn't let it slow him down for long. Every so often Boo will surprise you with a burst of the zoomies, and he truly lights up during playtime — chasing wand toys and rolling around in catnip are among his favorite things.

Give Boo a comfy cat tree by a window, and he'll happily spend hours watching the birds and squirrels outside. He also loves cuddling up with his sister, Winnie, and generally leans toward a relaxed, easygoing lifestyle — lounging is one of his true talents.

Attention from his people means the world to Boo. In his foster home, he's formed an especially close bond with the dad and teenage son, showing just how much he loves connecting with the men in his life.

Boo would do best in a home with older kids, as very young children's high energy might be a bit much for his gentler nature. He gets along well with other friendly cats and clearly adores being with his sister Winnie — we'd love to see that bond continue in his new home. We don't yet know how he'd do with dogs.

With his loving, easygoing personality, Boo is truly a gem just waiting for the right family to discover him.

If you are interested in learning more about Boo and Winnie, or any of our cats, please send in an application from our website.

https://www.orangestreetcats.org/adopt.html

or email us at:

osc@orangestreetcats.org

Note: Orange Street Cats is currently following an adoption model that gives you support while getting to know your new cat. In the first few weeks with your new cat or kitten, you will provide a loving home. This gives you and your family an opportunity to be sure this is a good fit for both your family and your new cat. Our adoption team is available during and after the transition period to make sure our adopters and our cats are happy together!

NYS Ag & Markets Registration #RR278
