Bonsai - Available from Foster's Story

Meet Bonsai and Ginseng!

Bonsai and Ginseng are a gentle, bonded duo who've been through a big life change and are now ready to find the calm, patient home they've been waiting for. These two soft souls came into our care when their previous guardian's lifestyle shifted, and although they were understandably withdrawn at first, their sweet personalities have begun to shine through.

Ginseng is the braver of the pair yet still very shy, but quietly curious and happy to make friends at his own pace. He had a dental procedure while in our care and is feeling so much brighter and more comfortable. Bonsai is the more timid one, a sensitive boy who looks to Ginseng for reassurance and draws a lot of comfort from having his friend nearby. He arrived with bilateral entropion, which has since been surgically corrected while in our care, and he's doing wonderfully.

Both boys are independent, gentle companions who will thrive in a quiet, predictable home with people who understand that trust takes time! Once they feel safe, their affection is soft and sincere! If you have a peaceful home, a patient heart, and space for two shy friends, Bonsai and Ginseng will reward you with the quietest, most special kind of love!

Dogs: Ginseng has experience sharing space with small dogs, though Ginseng does not.
Cats: Bonsai and Ginseng have experience sharing space with other respectful, female cats, though they do not appreciate the company of other male cats.
Children: Bonsai and Ginseng have no experience with children.

Bonsai and Ginseng are available for adoption from an HSCC foster home! To meet them, please complete an Adopter Profile and visit the Adopt section of our website for details on the adoption process. We look forward to seeing you soon!
