Bonnie's Story

Meet Bonnie, a clever and cautious sweetheart with a heart of gold and a story straight out of a feline crime caper. Bonnie and her partner in crime, Clyde, were found together and have been inseparable ever since. Truly as thick as thieves! When they first arrived at Abandoned Pet Rescue, both were fearful and unsure of their new surroundings. In true outlaw fashion, Clyde made a daring escape from his cage, while Bonnie stayed behind, patiently waiting for her partner to find a way out. After a few days of dodging the "law" (our shelter team), Clyde was finally "caught" and showered with treats and love, not punishment! Since then, Bonnie has blossomed. She's still a bit cautious around new people, but she has come a long way and now accepts gentle pets and even seems to enjoy them once she's comfortable. She's truly beginning to trust and appreciate the kindness around her. Bonnie and Clyde now thrive in our free roaming cat room, where they feel safe and content. While Clyde still needs more time and patience to fully come out of his shell, Bonnie is showing him the way with her growing confidence. To meet this loving pair please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.org!

Bonnie is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and ready for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue - a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
