BONDED PAIR Charlie & Joe (humanitarian adoption)'s Story

Description<br/>(Francais suit) *Humanitarian Adoption* Charlie & Joe have a sad story. Their owner passed away. We were told he was invalid & a hoarder. The 14 year old siblings were alone for over a week . The situation was so bad that fireman had to take them out of the apartment. The family tried to find them a home but no one was interested. As we were not in a position to take on more cats because we have our hands full, we offered to secure the cats in a foster home until they could find a solution. After a week Charlie (the ginger) was urinating blood so we had to rush him to the emergency. The familys response was horrible and we realized we would have to pay and adding another bonded pair to our many others. With luck Charlie only had a urinary infection. Hes had a follow up since and it had been resolved. fun fact: Joe is polydoctile, Charlie is a orange female (both rare) PERSONALITY TRAITS that we know so far : Joe (brown tabby) male Joe is very cuddly, quickly adapted to his fosters. He follows them around the appartement and stay close at all times. Hes very sweet, happy cat, he even won the clinic staffs hearts. He is very playful and friendly. A real sweetheart. Charlie (orange tabby) female Charlie seemed more private. Given the fact that she had a urinary infection probably caused by stress ,she was still grieving his human. SHe loves pets on her face, adores being brushed and loves to sit near her foster while she works. Both have had vet exams ,were vaccinated, dewormed, had a full geriatric blood & urine test which came out normal. They are at an early renal stage, which couls be worst at their age. They are also microchipped. They were already sterilized. This adorable 14 year old pair are looking for their last home to retire together , a calm environment is preferred . They now eat renal food available exclusively at vet clinics (dry & cans) and must remain on it to avoid a recurrence. They both love their food.
