Bob (aka Bobby)'s Story

Meet Bob — A Simple Name for a Special Boy!

Bob (or as he's affectionately known, Bobby) is a cheerful, friendly guy who absolutely loves people. He greets his foster parents every morning with his signature happy, raspy meow and happily weaves figure-eights around their legs to say hello. He's affectionate, outgoing, and full of gratitude — the kind of cat who makes you feel instantly welcomed the moment you walk into the room.

Bobby is easy going and would do well in nearly any home, but he would probably do best as a solo cat. He would prefer to soak up all the attention for himself...although this may change now that he's been neutered. With a gradual and thoughtful introduction, he could potentially adjust to another kitty friend, especially a female cat. He has spent some time around a gentle, senior dog in his foster home and may do well with another gentle dog with the proper introduction.. Bobby hasn't been around any children, but he would likely do well with older kids who respect boundaries and understand cat behavior.

Bobby's favorite things in life are perching on his cat tree to observe his surroundings, relaxing on a cozy fleece blanket, and watching TV with his humans. Teaser toys and laser pointers are his favorites, and when it comes to affection, Bobby is all in — he loves pets so much that he'll even stand up on his hind legs just to lean into them.

Bobby is truly a survivor. While we don't know much about his past, we do know he was found in a crate on the side of an Indiana highway. Despite everything he's been through, he has held onto his trusting, cheerful, and loving spirit. His raspy little meow is his way of telling you just how happy he is to finally be safe and sound as an indoor cat — and it's impossible not to smile when you hear it.

Bobby's superpower is his charm. Between his affectionate nature, happy greetings, and resilient heart, he has a way of winning people over instantly. If you're looking for a loving companion who will fill your home with warmth, head bumps, and happy meows, Bobby might just be your perfect match.

WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION. Forever Fortunate Felines's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster-based, we really understand our cat's personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier that opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee. Adoption Fees: http://foreverfortunatefelines.org/adoption-fees/ We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy! Everything from the application to payment, to the contract is online. Additionally, all of the cat's records will be placed in your free Pet lovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
