Bo's Story

Bo is a fun, young boy who loves to play. He is silly and entertaining with an innocent nature that is very kitten-iish. He greets you happily enjoying attention and praise. He is affectionate and loves to be pet. Playtime is his favorite, he loves activity and wants to be part of the action. He's well behaved and also likes to chill. One of his favorite entertainments besides toys, is watching the birds and squirrels out the window. He can sit there all day and enjoy the show.

Bo came from a home where the owner is deceased. There were many cats found in the home and on the property. Bo was still a kitten, living outside with a number of friends. He was very good-natured and happy-go-lucky. As we worked to rescue these cats and bring them into foster, we did our best to preserve the friendships we observed.

Bo made it into foster with his friends Bubba & Bistro who are an (available) bonded pair, just a little older than Bo. And another bonded pair that was younger than him and they got adopted. These cats were his family and he has appreciated being together with them in foster. Unfortunately, we did not have a buddy to pair up with Bo due to an odd number of cats, he was just kind of in the middle, but an equal part of the gang. Being with cats is very natural to Bo and he would love a buddy, but he is extra playful and it would need to be a cat that is equally playful and enjoys shenanigans like chasing and tackling.

Otherwise, Bo would also do well as an only cat if there is someone to engage him with activity and substitute the companionship. He could be a good family cat with kids who want to play and watch him be funny. He is a real hoot that can make you laugh out loud without even trying, it just comes natural to him.

He has not been directly together with dogs, but he has been in the home with a doggy visitor on a separate floor. Bo watched from the banister with great interest and did not seem fearful, so there's a good chance he could also adapt with a dog that is cat-friendly.

Bo is healthy, fixed, and fully vetted. He is about 3 years old. Ready to steal someone's heart with his unique and adorable face, as well as his gentle fun-loving spirit.
