Meet Blueberry! <br/><br/>Blueberry was surrendered back to our rescue after being adopted as a kitten four years ago through no fault of his own. He is a little shy at first glance, but quickly blossoms into a total lovebug. He enjoys gentle chin scratches, pets, and curling up on your lap—or even your stomach—for cozy snuggles. His coat is absolutely gorgeous: smooth, silky, and perfect for petting.<br/><br/>Blueberry is a laid-back, chill boy who would thrive in a calm, quiet home. Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. We look forward to hearing from you! Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter and microchip insertion. Please note these are not pedigree animals and we have no way of attesting if any of them are hypoallergenic and as such cannot adopt to homes with allergies.

A Cat's Friend, Inc's Adoption Policy
By adopting from A Cat and Dog’s Friend Rescue (ACADF), you will not only provide a cat or dog a loving home, but will open up a space so we can bring in another animal off our waiting list. All adoptions require the completion of an an approved application and adoption fee and you will need to apply on our website, www.catdogfriendrescue.com directly if you wish to be considered for adoption. The adoption fee covers expenses incurred by ACADF rescue to care for these animals, as well as the cost for various medical such as FeLV/FIV tests, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, de-worming, and flea & tick treatment. Our adoption fees vary based on the animal and medical treatment provided.
