Health: Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Blueberry needs a quiet home and lots of time to decompress. She's very stressed out here at the shelter, and while Blueberry can be a loving kitty, she can also react defensively when she's stressed out. She's had a lot of upheaval in the last few months and it will likely take her a few months to fully de-stress. She is looking for a home where she will truly get the time, space, respect, and quiet that she needs for long enough to finally relax. Recently, we decided to put her on Prozac and it has helped her tremendously. She has become more and more loving, affectionate and her anxiety has significantly reduced.

Prefers a home without: Other cats, dogs, children.

Meet Blueberry

Blueberry has had a rough few months! She's tried out a couple of homes, and we've learned a lot about her needs in the process. Blueberry is choosy about her friends - and she only wants human friends. Other cats and dogs are too much for her to handle. Blueberry also needs her space, and her quiet time. But when these needs are met, Blueberry is affectionate and her quirky personality comes out.
