Blondie's Story

Hi, my name is Blondie! 🧡

I’m a beautiful orange tabby girl, about 5–6 years old. My exact age isn’t known since I was rescued, but one thing is certain—I’m a rare gem! Did you know that about 80% of orange tabbies are male? That makes me a pretty special lady. ✨
I may not be a kitten anymore, but I’m healthy and full of life. I recently had a dental cleaning, tested negative for parasites, and I’m fully dewormed. I’m also up to date on my anti-flea and anti-tick treatments—so I’m all ready for my forever home!

I have a playful spirit and still enjoy my toys, but I also have a calm, gentle personality. Think of me as the perfect mix of fun and peaceful companionship. I can be a bit of an independent girl and tend to enjoy my own space, so I would do best as the only cat, with another cat around my age, or in a home where I’m introduced slowly and thoughtfully.

I absolutely love wet food (it’s the way to my heart! 😋), and I would thrive in a home where I can relax, feel safe, and be loved at my own pace.

If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion with a touch of sass and a lot of charm, I might just be your perfect match.

Will you give this rare orange girl a loving home?

Blondie is rescued and under the care of Save a Gato. Any applicant needs to apply through the website of our organization https://www.saveagato.com/available-cats

Although our cats are all located in Puerto Rico, they can fly to mainland US. We can usually find flight angels to bring the cat to you once you are approved for adoption. We don't charge for arranging the trip, the air ticket is $125 on top of the $50 adoption fee ($175 total).

Any potential adopter should fill out an application form (for a specific cat or for general pre-approval). After we review the application, a phone interview will be arranged for the qualified applicants for final approval. After the approval the applicant may choose to visit our facilities or local petsmart/petco stores where our cats are located for adoption and meet the dream cat (if the adopter doesn't already have a particular cat in mind). Finally the adopter will sign the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, pay refundable spay/neuter deposit (if applicable) and pick up the cat. If the adopter is located in a different location in the US than Puerto Rico, arrangement of delivering the cat will also be discussed. We can usually find flight angels to bring the cat to mainland US. We don't charge for arranging the trip, the cost of pet ticket is about $95-$125 depending the airline.
