He loves to be pet and often jumps onto his human's lap for head bumps and cuddles.<br/><br/>He also enjoys chasing after feather toys, and sometimes even entertains himself with the wand end instead of the feather end. He also loves his cardboard scratcher and is very good about using it. <br/><br/>He was shy when he first met his current foster, but after a few days he became much more comfortable in his new digs. He soon showed her how much he loves attention and being on her lap.<br/><br/>Black Jack was returned to 4Paws due to having allergies and a stressful home environment. He was treated by a pet allergist and his allergies are now under control with a twice daily pill which he eats like a kitty treat. When Black Jack had to take other small pills while trying to find the best treatment, they were wrapped in half a chicken pill pocket and he ate them like a treat!<br/><br/>Black Jack lived with another cat in his prior home, but thinks his current foster sister kitty should vacate the premises so he can get all the love and attention. We think he would probably prefer being an only kitty or the dominant kitty in a quiet home. <br/><br/>Since he isn't such a fan of his current foster sister, he is currently confined to his own room, but would love to have more room to roam and play, and, of course, to get more attention from his people.<br/><br/>Black Jack has lived with children, and does well with school-age and older children who aren't too rowdy. He would also make a great companion for adults of all ages. He's very adaptable!<br/><br/>His current foster is a font of knowledge about ways to manage his allergies, and will be happy to exchange contact information with the lucky person who adopts (or fosters) Black Jack in case questions arise or tips are needed to keep his allergies under control.<br/><br/>Black Jack's estimated birthdate is xxxxx, and he is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, tested negative for FIV & FeLV, and is microchipped.
