Biscuit's Story

Meet Biscuit!

Biscuit is a 6 year old, Neutered male, DSH Tuxedo!

This special boy came to us in rough shape! It's been a long road but now he's ready for adoption. Biscuit unfortunately tested positive for FIV, which is a lifelong viral infection that can weaken the cats immune system. While cats with FIV can more easily get sick, with proper care, they can live long and meaningful lives! FIV is contagious to other cats but only through direct blood transfer (deep bite wounds). Typically they can live with other cats safely if all cats are non-confrontational, but to be 100% safe, they should live with other FIV positive cats or be the only cat. Other pets, such as dogs are not at risk of transmission.

Biscuit is shy and slow to warm up but once he does he loves a great cheek scratch and loves to chat a bit. He will need a slow introduction into a home to feel safe, but once he does he will surely be a love bug! Don't let this boy pass you by!!

Visit our website to fill out the adoption application: https://bit.ly/HSofMacombadoptionapplication

After your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up for an animal in foster care.

All Humane Society of Macomb animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested and microchipped.Thank you for showing an interest in our pets. We can never guarantee the breeds of the animals. We do not DNA test. Please feel free to call us with any questions.
