Adoption Policy To ensure our rescued cats and kittens are placed in safe, permanent homes, all adopters must agree to the following requirements: Application & Vet Check: An approved adoption application and a verifiable veterinary reference are required prior to any finalized adoption. Housing Verification: You must provide proof of homeownership. If you rent or live in an HOA, you must provide explicit, verifiable approval allowing felines on the property. Standard of Care: Adopters commit to providing lifelong care, including indoor shelter, high-quality nutrition, daily enrichment, and routine/emergency veterinary care. Strict Spay/Neuter: Under no circumstances will CCHappyCats adopt out an unaltered animal. All cats and kittens are spayed or neutered before leaving our care. There are no exceptions. Return & Rehoming Protocol: If you can no longer care for the cat at any point in its life, you must contact CCHappyCats immediately. The cat must either be returned to us, or you must obtain our explicit written approval before rehoming the cat with anyone else.
