Birdie's Story

Birdie
Female
MRQ# Q7-25-4
DOB: 7/4/2025

Meet Birdie — an outgoing tortie who proudly puts the TUD in tortitude. She’s confident, opinionated, and very expressive. Birdie knows exactly what she wants, exactly what she doesn’t, and she’s not shy about letting you know either. Tortie fans? You’ll feel right at home.

Despite the sass, Birdie is a major lovebug. She’s a big cuddler, a devoted people-cat, and happiest when she can snuggle up after a good play session. She also has one true weakness: wet food and treats. Birdie LOVES them and will absolutely negotiate, bargain, and possibly sell her soul for snacks.

With her gorgeous, ultra-soft fur and bold personality, Birdie is truly one of a kind. She can do great as a solo queen or with another cat who understands personal space and respects boundaries. She’d be a good fit for a home with older kids (8+) or respectful toddlers (4+) who can read kitty cues.

Because Birdie comes with extra personality, she’s not a first-time cat owner kind of girl. She’s looking for someone who appreciates a confident, sassy tortie and will love her exactly as she is—opinions, attitude, cuddles, and all.

Playful, snuggly, dramatic, and unforgettable—Birdie is ready to rule the right home with love, laughs, and just a little bit of attitude. 🖤🧡🐾

She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and flea treated. All she needs now her purrfect forever home!

If interested in Birdie, please email us at office@meoowzresq.org to schedule a meet and greet.

****Or you can apply for her directly online at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MRQ/Cat

Personality traits
Is litter box trained
Has been around other cats
Is very outgoing and independent
LIKES to be held
LIKES to be picked up
Is this kitty Special Needs?
No
Dry Food
Iaams Kitten
Wet Food
Friskies Prime Filets
