Birdie's Story

Hi there, I'm Birdie! I'm a beautiful young adult cat looking for my forever family. I'm pretty shy and reserved but you can win me over with a little patience and lots of pets and treats. My favorite thing is getting head and back scratches. I could purr and make biscuits all day long while you pet me. I'm still learning how to play or maybe I'm just too smart for the human's fake mice. I'm spayed and fully litter box trained!

Houston Pets Alive!'s Adoption Policy

When you find an animal you’re interested in, complete an adoption application at houstonpetsalive.org/adopt. You will be contacted within 24 hours of receiving your application. Completing an application neither guarantees nor binds you to an animal. We will set up a meet and greet with you and the pet. If it’s the right fit, you’ll sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. All adopted animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Questions? Email adopt@houstonpetsalive.org.
