Bird's Story

Bird is an 11-month-old female cat with a bright, resilient spirit and a whole lot of love to give. She was rescued after being brought to a local emergency clinic very sick and was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Thanks to dedicated care and treatment, Bird has made an incredible recovery and is now healthy, thriving, and ready for her forever home.

Through it all, Bird has remained a happy, playful, and social girl. She loves to interact, play, and be part of whatever you’re doing. She would do well as an only cat or with another young, friendly cat — though she can be a bit enthusiastic and “pushy” when it comes to playtime!

Bird’s journey shows just how strong and joyful she is. For adopters, it’s helpful to know that many cats who complete treatment for FIP go on to live normal, healthy lives, and Bird is doing wonderfully post-treatment.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and resilient companion, Bird is ready to bring energy, joy, and a truly special story into your life. 💕

If you are interested in meeting Bird, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Cat and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at adoptionstrp@gmail.com. This will get you the fastest response.

Bird's adoption fee is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, snap testing.

All cats adopted from The Rescue Project are to be indoor only cats.
