Bigfoot's Story
Meet Bigfoot!

Male | 2 months | will be neutered prior to adoption | up to date on vaccines for his age | dewormed | microchipped | will be FeLV/FIV tested during neuter, mom has already tested negative

Bigfoot came into Inked Kittens Club with his mom and 3 other siblings after they were found to have ringworm in a shelter and given a hard euthanasia deadline. They’ve since been cleared of ringworm and are gaining weight incredibly. They will be getting fixed January 7th making go home days then or the following week pending how their procedures go.

Personality wise Bigfoot is the life of the party. He loves jumping around for toys and is the biggest of his litter. When they came into rescue initially to no one’s surprise he was the first to come out of the kennel and want affection. A true perfect ham of a tuxie.

As always adoptions in pairs are prioritized. For this litter specifically we will not be reviewing applications until after Christmas. We anticipate an influx of apps for the litter as well with 2 of the 4 being the unique coloring they are and mom being such a distinct black smoke beauty. *Mom has an adoption pending.*

The adoption fee for a single kitten is $150 while a pair is $250.

____

Interested in Adopting?

Complete our Adoption Application on our Profile Page (click the “Visit Our Profile Page” button below). We do not evaluate inquiries.

Please read below before applying:

We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. Our priority is finding the best match for each cat or kitten. Applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens are typically given higher priority. Due to concerns about Single Kitten Syndrome (SKS), young kittens are not eligible for solo adoption unless there is already a young kitty of similar energy in the home.

What is Single Kitten Syndrome?

Single Kitten Syndrome occurs when young kittens are adopted alone. Without a feline playmate, they may develop behavioral issues such as:

• Aggression or anxiety
• Inappropriate chewing or scratching
• Litter box avoidance
• Difficulty adjusting to new pets or children later in life

While not all single kittens experience these challenges, it’s a common reason cats are rehomed later. The best way to prevent SKS is to adopt kittens in pairs or ensure there’s already a playful, compatible cat in the home.
