Around the same time, my health took a turn and I was diagnosed with diabetes. I had also developed a painful dental infection that required multiple extractions, and by the time I returned to foster care, I weighed just 7 pounds.<br/><br/>These days, I'm doing so much better. I get insulin just once a day, and I'm an absolute pro about it. Blood glucose checks? No problem. Insulin injection? Barely notice it. Fancy Feast Classic Pate? Now we're talking.<br/><br/>I am extremely food motivated, which makes my care considerably easier. I'll happily cooperate with just about anything if there's a meal or treat waiting for me. Chicken hearts are particularly convincing. I'm also very vocal when I think dinner is taking too long, and I have been known to pat your hand or offer a gentle little nom to make sure my concerns are being heard.<br/><br/>Despite my demanding nature, I'm a big softie. I love attention, I have a wonderfully loud purr, and I'm not shy about letting you know when I'm happy.<br/><br/>I'll need an adopter who is comfortable continuing my once-daily insulin, blood glucose monitoring, and diet.
