Big Mac - loves young kitties's Story

Meet Big Mac — and yes, he absolutely lives up to the name. He loves kittens to play with.

Big Mac is a 3-5 -year-old tabby and white gentleman with a larger-than-life presence and an equally big heart. This handsome guy is still settling in, but so far he’s showing us that he’s playful, sweet, and very appreciative of pets. If you’ve got hands, Big Mac has plans for them.
As a mature fellow, Big Mac brings the best of both worlds — he enjoys a good play session, but he’s also perfectly content soaking up affection and lounging like the king he is.
He’s the kind of cat who looks like he belongs stretched across your couch, supervising your day and accepting compliments.

Big Mac is FIV + and we want to clear that up right away because it sounds scarier than it is. FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, not through sharing food, water, litter boxes, or casual play.
That means Big Mac can safely live with other friendly, non-aggressive cats. Cats with FIV routinely live long, happy, completely normal lives — and Big Mac fully intends to do exactly that.
We’re still getting to know him, but one thing is already clear: this big boy has a lot of love to give and is ready to find a home where he can truly shine.
Big Mac is fully vaccinated and vetted through New Hope Animal Rescue and is ready for his forever home. We verify references for our fosters and volunteers to make sure our rescued animals have the best care while waiting for their forever homes. Likewise, we ask any potential adopter fill out and submit our adoption application prior to scheduling a meet and greet with a pet in a foster home. This does not obligate you to adopt, but it is the first step towards being added to our approved list of adopters. Applicants are approved pending vet reference and personal reference checks, and a home visit. All current animals in the home must be spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines as well as heartworm and flea prevention and any information provided on an application will be verified. Thank you for your patience with our process! We are grateful you are looking to adopt your next pet.
