Big Deal may be a cat but make no mistake: this is a dog in a cat suit.<br/><br/>Big Deal's story is a long and complicated one. If we could give you the tldr; version it would be: this is the best damn cat and despite having GONE THROUGH IT he only has lots of love to give and smother you with.<br/><br/>Big Deal was rescued off the side of the road when our Executive Director saw something out of the corner of her eye while driving to her favorite store (you know, the way most rescue stories begin). She was able to scoop him up into a crate and bring him home only to realize he had scars all over his body, a certain swag in his walk, and shortened tail. All signs pointed to some sort of trauma.<br/><br/>Big Deal is a big dork in every way. He is estimated to be between ~3 years old. When he's not showering you with love he's playing this his toys or singing (he is talkative). He loves nesting in your lap or nuzzling in your armpit (lol). Big Deal would thrive in a home of chaos as he's always wanting to know what is going on and LOVES being in the center of everything. Big Deal gives main character energy. When we named him Big Deal we had no idea just how accurately he would live up to that name in every way. Oh! Did we mention he wags his tail like a dog????? HE ALSO LOVES TO PLAY FETCH....like. a. dog.<br/><br/>Big Deal is FIV+ but this just means rather than a yearly exam with the vet he'll need to go twice a year. FIV requires no additional maintenance or support and we're happy to tell you everything you need to know. We promise, while this cat is a *big deal*, FIV is no big deal.<br/><br/>Big Deal has been neutered, received all the vetting he could possibly need to get him into 100% tip top shape, has been vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, combo tests (FIV+, FeLV-) and is UTD on flea meds.<br/><br/>Big Deal would do best as an only pet but may be able to thrive in a home with a dog, we would provide instructions for proper introduction.<br/><br/>Big Deal is BEGGING us to find him his forever home.
