Big Ben's Story

Hi, I'm Big Ben!

I'm a confident, outgoing guy with a big presence and an even bigger personality! I would make an excellent adventure cat for someone interested in exploring the world with a feline sidekick, whether that means leash training, patio lounging, or just adding a little extra excitement to your day to day life.

When it comes to other cats, I can be a bit of a dominant personality, so I may do best as your one and only where I can soak up all the attention. With slow, thoughtful introductions, I could potentially share my space with the right feline companion.

Like many cats who have spent time in shelters, I carry a common feline upper respiratory virus. This means I might have occasional mild flare ups, like sneezing or watery eyes, especially during times of stress. Most of the time, I feel perfectly fine and live life like any other cat. It does not shorten my lifespan, it is just something to keep an eye on and manage if needed!

I would do best either as a solo cat or with other cats who are vaccinated and comfortable with typical shelter backgrounds. A patient home will help me thrive.
If you are looking for a bold, affectionate, and slightly adventurous companion with a whole lot of personality, I just might be your guy!
