Friends of Berlin Animal Control, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We require a Veterinarian reference for adopting. All adopters must be over 25 years of age. Cats adoption fee is $85, Dogs are between $100-$150. Feral barn cats are waived the fee and include 1 month food. The adoption process can take 2-4 days to process from your inquiry until we can reach your vet and set up a meet & greet with you. We DO adopt out of state, but our preference is CT. If we have CT resident that applied and they have an outstanding Vet reference, they will be considered before out of state.
