Betty's Story

Betty is a young lady who was found as a stray. She was scanned for a microchip and Hurrah! She had one! The owners were contacted and unfortunately they were no longer in a position to take her back. So, Ms Betty Boop came to stay with a new foster family who quickly found out SHE’s AMAZING! She rarely holds still because she wants to be near you for lovins. She’s very spunky, playful, affectionate, and gets on great with other cats. She’s also very good looking with that cute blaze down her nose and milky white feet. She most likely is fine with cat friendly dogs as well, but we don’t know about that as of yet. She just has a very relaxed, Ferris Bueller type personality. Our Miss Betty Boop would love a home before America’s 250th birthday ends and rolls into 251. She is flying her flag for you, won’t you come adopt her?

Humane Society of Loudoun County's Adoption Policy
We want to make sure each adoption is successful and that each animal is adopted into a family that is the right fit for everyone. All our animals are fully vetted and are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. For our adoption process we will arrange a meet and greet between potential adopters and the animal after an application is submitted. We ask for 2 personal references, check to make sure current animals are vaccinated then we schedule a virtual interview, which is an interview to discuss how to integrate the new arrival into the household, food, equipment, etc. Our adoption fee for cats and kittens is $150. Our dog and puppy adoption fee is $300. Check out our upcoming events here: http://www.humaneloudoun.org/events1.aspx
