Betty's Story

Who could not love Betty? She is a 1 and one/half year old momma that lived outside and birthed 5 kittens in an old falling down shed. The vet mentioned that this young mother gave everything she had to keep her kittens alive. She gave so much that she actually lost much of her coat. Even through this, Betty loved people. A kind man who found Betty and her kittens under his porch was able to pick Betty up and move the kittens into his home. This was a new beginning for Betty. The man contacted our rescue group and ask if we could help Betty and kittens. We took them in.

Since coming into our care, the kittens have been weaned, Betty has visited the vet to be spayed and was given appropriate vaccinations for her age. She has been dewormed and treated for fleas and ticks (she had none). She did well with her Rabies and Distemper vaccinations. She tested negative for feline leukemia. She is litterbox trained. She is living in a home with other cats. This sweet and gentle Betty is ready for her new home.

What does Betty like to do? Well, she likes to climb cat trees, play with people and their toys, play by herself and bat things around with her paws. She enjoys resting in the sunshine and hanging with her people.

Are you ready for Betty? Betty would like a family who wants to care for her, play with her, give her food and a soft bed, and make her a permanent part of their family. If you feel Betty is a good fit for your family, please go to pawswi.com and complete the application, so a representative can send the info to the foster family.

Betty's adoption fee is $200.00 which includes tax. Help Betty find her new home.
