Betty's Story

If you believe the quiet ones have the most love to give . . . Betty might be your perfect match. 🧡🖤🤍

Betty is living in a foster home in central Ohio. This sweet calico girl is about 2-3 years old, and she is seeking an adult-only home without dogs. If you can’t adopt her, please share this listing to help her find a forever home! 🏡

Betty is shy and soft-spoken, happiest in a calm, peaceful home where she can relax and feel safe. This beautiful calico girl has a gentle soul and the sweetest, most delicate personality. She has the softest little voice and only uses it when she has something important to say—which makes those rare moments extra special. 💕

While Betty is independent, she enjoys being near her people . . . especially if treats are involved (her absolute favorite 😄). And when it’s mealtime? You’ll be treated to her signature move—the cutest wiggly “butt dance” that’s guaranteed to make you smile every single time.

Betty would thrive in an adult-only home without dogs, as busy environments can be overwhelming for her. She does well with calm, respectful cats and has been living peacefully with feline friends in her foster home. 🐈🐈‍⬛

If you’re looking for a quiet, loving, lowkey cat who will bring warmth and charm (and a signature wiggle) into your home, Betty may be the perfect match. If you give her a little time, you’ll start to see her loving side shine through—soft affection, quiet companionship, and little play sessions. 🐾💖

Betty has been fully vetted:
✅ Spayed
✅ Microchipped
✅ FIV/FeLV negative
✅ Current on all vaccines

🚨 Note that adopters MUST have a history with a veterinary clinic that can be verified, and an application MUST be submitted prior to arranging a meeting.

💻 If you’re located in Ohio, and you’re interested in meeting/adopting Betty, submit an application via the Forgotten 4-Paws website - https://www.forgotten4paws.com/adopt-adoptform

🐾 Applicants can also request to foster-to-adopt (meaning a cat can be fostered on a trial basis before making a decision to adopt).

📧 Email contactusforgotten4paws@yahoo.com with any questions.

Forgotten 4 Paws's Adoption Policy
Matching responsible pet guardians with Forgotten 4-Paws' cats is our primary goal. We carefully interview potential adopters because we want to make sure the right match is made! Our Forgotten 4-Paws 'interviewers' do a great job of matchmaking. We work hard to fit your adoption criteria with the pets we have up for adoption. We want the adoption to be successful for both you and the cat or dog! Too often pets end up in shelters because they were never a good match for their homes in the first place. At Forgotten 4-Paws, we look for people who intend to provide a home for the life of the pet and understand what that requires. ADOPTION PROCESS Start by completing an application. Online adoption applications are available at www.Forgotten4Paws.org. Please email any questions contactusforgotten4paws@yahoo.com. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee that a cat or kitten will be placed with you. Once you submit your application, a Forgotten 4-Paws volunteer will contact you for an interview and to talk about the specific pet(s) you expressed interest in. After the interview process, we will set up a time for you to meet the cat / kitten to make sure a successful match has been made. Typically, this will be at your home. If approved, the volunteer will make arrangements for your new feline to join your family. The adoption fees are $100 for one cat/kitten or $175 for two cats/kittens.
