Beth's Story

Beth is the kind of cat who stops people in their tracks. This beautiful girl arrived at ARF at the beginning of May after being transferred from an overcrowded shelter and while we may never know how she found herself there in the first place, we know she deserves a bright future from here on out. With her striking green eyes, elegant tuxedo markings and whiskers so long they seem like they could span an entire zip code, Beth is an absolute stunner. She has a quiet charm that draws you in immediately and we are just beginning to get to know the lovely personality behind those captivating eyes. Beth is an affectionate, toy-loving companion who is ready to leave kennel life behind and find her forever person. If you get down on her level, this sweet girl will come running right to you to look for cuddles, attention, and connection. Beth's Favorite Things Chasing Toys: She loves a good game of hall soccer and will happily chase a soft toy all the way down the hallway. Lounge Life: A true cat of comfort, she firmly believes in the rule "if it fits, I sits" and will happily lounge on any open surface. Pampering Sessions: She absolutely melts for grooming and loves the feeling of a soft bristle brush run from her head right up to the tip of her tail. Her Ideal Home Beth is not fond of cage living and is eager to trade shelter life for a cozy home where she can be close to her humans. She is looking for a devoted companion who will invite her up onto the couch, play with her, and give her all the love she deserves.

Adopting an animal is an important decision that will affect you, your household, and the animal for many years to come. Our primary goal is to place animals in a loving and forever home. We strive for the best possible match between you and your new pet. If you do not find the right animal on your first visit to our shelter, please return another day when new animals will be available for adoption. We include as much information as we know about an animal on their information card. We are here to help make a wonderful new addition to your family. Adoption Requirements • Must be 18 years of age or older (seniors 65 and over qualify for the Seniors for Seniors program) • Must have valid ID with current address • Must provide landlord’s name and phone number (or copy of current lease) • All members of the household should be present • You must understand that Berea Animal Rescue must approve your adoption application If this is your first visit, please follow this link, bit.ly/ARFWaiver, to provide us with your household’s information and sign our Animal Contact Waiver. Fees The shelter accepts cash or Mastercard, Visa, or Discover. *If paying in cash, please understand that volunteers are unable to make change. CAT ADOPTION INFORMATION Senior cats (7 years and older): $65.00 Cats (7 months – 6 years) – $100.00 Kittens (less than 7 months) – $140.00 Special breed pricing — $200 Cardboard carriers available – $5.00 *Certain animals may carry fees that are higher or lower than indicated here based on special circumstances. Included in fee: Immunodeficiency Virus & Leukemia Test, Spay / Neuter, Basic Vaccination, Rabies Vaccination (as age appropriate), Worming, Microchip DOG ADOPTION INFORMATION Senior Dogs (over 25 lbs and 8 years and older) – $95.00 Adult Dogs (7 months to 8 years) – $175 Puppies (less than 7 months) – $275.00 Small Dogs (less than 25 lbs and less than 11 yrs) – $210.00 Small Senior Dogs (less than 25 lbs and older than 11 yrs) – $95.00 Purebred Dogs – $375.00 *Certain animals may carry fees that are higher or lower than indicated here based on special circumstances.
