Bertie's Story

Meet Bertie! He is an approximately 12 y/o male with a sweet face and great purr! He previously had a home but was abandoned at the county shelter, then slated for euthanasia. Friends of Bear swooped in to save him just in time, and we're now looking for his real forever home.

Bertie has Hyperthyroidism that is well-controlled on a once daily pill, which he eats enthusiastically in a pill pocket treat. He loves snacks and pets, and we think he would be a lap cat in a home. He is shut down in a kennel here and is very desperate to find a home.

Bertie must be the only pet in the home. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We're happy to answer any questions about his health or any other questions you may have about this sweet boy!

If you're interested in Bertie, please reach out to us directly: friendsofbearcatrescue@gmail.com
