Bertha adores her big humans, but is not a massive fan of the little ones, as they stress her out. Bertha enjoys spending her time relaxing on her cat tree and on top of the rat cage. She will seek you out for attention and doesn't like to be picked up, or at least not in the shelter environment. She will thrive in an adult-only household, where she can be herself.Bertha is spayed and her vaccinations are current. She is feline leukemia/FIV/HW negative. She is not declawed. Windmill Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

ADOPTION INFORMATION To adopt an animal you must complete these steps: Fill out the Pre-Adoption Application. Obtain by writing to windmillanimalrescue@yahoo.com. Wait for approval from at least three Board Members. Select and meet your pet before, after, or during the first two steps. Obtain all necessary supplies for your new pet before adoption day. Food and litter are available for purchase at the shelter. Complete the Final Adoption Agreement and pay the necessary adoption fee before leaving the Windmill Animal Rescue with your new forever friend. Because of the shelter circumstances, the cats are indoor/outdoor kitties. It is preferred, but not required, that they spend their lives as indoor, non-declawed cats (some cats arrive already declawed). These pets need a forever home with lots of love and attention.
